Summary

The <a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Verizon_Building" class="extiw" title="en:Verizon Building">Verizon Building</a>, also known as the Barclay-Vesey Building, is located at 140 West Street between Barclay and Vesey Streets with a facing on Washington Street in the TriBeCa neighborhood of Manhattan, New York City. It was built 1923-27 and was designed by Ralph Walker of McKenzie, Voorhees & Gmelin in the Art Deco style. It stood across the street from the World Trade Center, and was damaged in the 9-11 attack.
