This photograph was taken by me at the Someshvara temple (also spelt Someshwara or Somesvara) in Kolar, Kolar district, Karnataka state, India. The Someshvara temple is an ornate example of early 14th century architecture of the Vijayanagara Empire. The entrance to the main hall is flanked by massive pillars.
