The 2000-01 Cleveland Cavaliers season was the 31st season of NBA basketball in Cleveland, Ohio. In the offseason, the Cavaliers traded Shawn Kemp to the Portland TrailBlazers. The Cavaliers got off to a solid 15-7 record, but then struggled and later on lost ten consecutive games finishing the season with a 30-52 record, 6th in the Central Division. Andre Miller led the team in scoring, assists and steals.
