Common names: Greater Antillean boas, rainbow boas, West Indian boas.

Epicrates is a genus of non-venomous boas found in South America, Central America and the West Indies. Ten species are currently recognized.

Geographic range

Found in lower Central America through South America as far south as Argentina, as well as in the West Indies.
