Summary

A U.S. Navy Ling Temco Vought A-7C-2-CV Corsair II (BuNo 156745, c/n C-012) from attack squadron VA-82 Marauders armed with 227 kg Mk 82 bombs en route to a target in Vietnam in 1972/73. VA-82 was assigned to Attack Carrier Air Wing 8 (CVW-8) aboard the aircraft carrier USS America (CVA-66) for a deployment to Vietnam from 5 June 1972 to 24 March 1973. The A-7C 156745 was later converted to an TA-7C, then to an EA-7L. It was retired to the AMARC as 6A0405 on 25 September 1991.
