Aguang River [with a latitude of 15.78 (15° 46' 60 N) and a longitude of 121.55 (121° 32' 60 E), is a hydrographic (stream) located in Barangay Buhangin, Baler, Aurora, 313 kilometers north (351°) of the approximate center of Philippines and 145 kilometers north east (25°) of the capital Manila<a rel="nofollow" class="external autonumber" href="http://www.traveljournals.net/explore/philippines/map/m3322436/aguang_river.html">[1]</a>. Aguang River (Kabilang Sabangan), better known during the founding of old town Baler as the river San Jose, was setting of Coppola’s “Apocalypse Now” filmed in 1976-79<a rel="nofollow" class="external autonumber" href="http://www.oocities.org/olagstories/outerbanks.htm">[2]</a>.
