Summary
A Bixi-carried stele in Linggu Scenic Area, in or near the cemetery of the Chinese Fifth Army and Nineteenth Route Army Soldiers who fell fighting the Japanese invaders in Shanghai in 1932. The tablet presently says merely 霊谷深松 (Linggu Shen Song). This perhaps means something like "The dense pine forest in the Linggu Valley" (?) and is perhaps simply the old name for the area. Apparently, this is post-1949 text; the original text indicated that this was the grave of General Tan Yankai
