Summary

The Type 14 pistol was designed by Japanese general Kijiro Nambu around 1925. Series 1 pistols were produced from December 1941 to November 1943, this particular weapon was produced in August 1943. It has the enlarged trigger guard which is seen in 1940's production pistols, allowing the gun to be fired with a gloved hand. This pistol is displayed with its original magazine and holster. Exhibited in the Texas Military Forces Museum in Austin, Texas.
