John Eyre (1665–1715)

John Eyre (12 April 1665 - 2 November 1715), was an English politician.
Eyre was the son of Sir Giles Eyre of Brickworth House and his wife Dorothy Ryves. He was educated at Merton College, Oxford and was called to the bar at Lincoln's Inn in 1688.[1]
Eyre was Member of Parliament for Downton from 1698 to 1701 and from 1705 to 1715.[2] In 1715 he became a bencher before his death at the age of 50.
Eyre married Mary Williams on 18 June 1687.
