St. Francis Catholic Cemetery is a cemetery located in Phoenix, Arizona. It was founded in 1897 and consists of 52 acres (210,000 m2), 45 of which are developed. Before 1969, the cemetery was run by the Order of St. Francis, under the Diocese of Tucson. However, following 1969 it became an independent cemetery.[1] People of note interred here include former baseball players Red Hardy[2] and Bill DeLancey.[3]
