Theodore Frankel

Theodore Frankel (born 1929) is a mathematician who introduced the Andreotti–Frankel theorem. Frankel received his Ph.D. from the University of California, Berkeley in 1955. His doctoral advisor was Harley Flanders.[1] A Professor Emeritus of Mathematics at UC San Diego, Theodore Frankel was a longtime member of Princeton's Institute for Advanced Study and is known for his work in global differential geometry, Morse theory, and relativity theory.
