Lua error in package.lua at line 80: module 'strict' not found. The sultani was an Ottoman gold coin. It was first minted during the reign of Mehmed II (r. 1451–1481), weighing about 3.45 grams. The sultani is the classic Ottoman gold coin also known generically as altın ("gold").
