Inside of the abandoned Protestant church
Żeliszów [ʐɛˈliʂuf] (German: Giersdorf) is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Bolesławiec, within Bolesławiec County, Lower Silesian Voivodeship, in south-western Poland.[1] Prior to 1945 it was in Germany.
It lies approximately 11 km (7 mi) south-east of Bolesławiec, and 99 km (62 mi) west of the regional capital Wrocław.
The village houses a Protestant church designed in 1796-1797 by Carl Gotthard Langhans, currently in stage of renovation proceed by Your Heritage Foundation (Fundacja Twoje Dziedzictwo).
