47 Arietis (abbreviated 47 Ari) is a star in the northern constellation of Aries. 47 Arietis is the Flamsteed designation. It is faintly visible to the naked eye with an apparent visual magnitude of 5.80.[2] It has an annual parallax shift of 30.15 ± 0.30 mas,[1] which is equivalent to a physical distance of approximately 108 light-years (33 parsecs) from Earth. This is an F-type subgiant star with a stellar classification of F5 IV.[3]
