"Al Magharibia" (Arabic: المغاربية‎‎) is an Arabic language satellite television channel broadcasting from London. Al Magharibia (means "Maghrebian" in Arabic) was set up by an Algerian businessman with a number of Arab intellectuals from Britain and the Arab World.[1]

History

Al Magharibia was founded in November 2011, and started to broadcast its programs on 16 December 2011.[2]
