Alexandru Boc (born 3 June 1946 in Vașcău, Bihor) is a retired Romanian footballer, who played as a defender and won two Liga I titles. He was also an occasional film actor, playing alongside great Romanian actors like Toma Caragiu and Gheorghe Dinică in the 1975 comedy movie Nu filmăm să ne-amuzăm (We do not film to amuse ourselves) directed by Iulian Mihu. As of 2014, he is the vicepresident of the Professional Football League of Romania.

In 1969, he was sentenced to two and a half years in prison for having beaten a Securitate officer at a bar. [1] He served one year and a month. [1]
