Ballyvolane is a suburb of Cork City. Located on the north side of the city. It is home for many people.
Ballyvolane borders with Mayfield, White's Cross, Glenheights and Dublin Hill.
The two schools in Ballyvolane are St.Aidan's C.C and Scoil Oilibheir.
In June 2012, several households in the area were damaged by flooding. [1]
