J. Basil Dannebohm was a Republican member of the Kansas House of Representatives, representing District 113.[1] He was the only non-incumbent to run unopposed during the 2014 election.[2]
In September 2012, Dannebohm was diagnosed with young onset Parkinson's Disease. In an effort to raise awareness of the effects of the disease, he travels the country as both an advocate and speaker.[3]
On February 24, 2015, after serving only 42 days as a legislator, Dannebohm resigned due to health reasons.[4] He was replaced by Greg Lewis of St. John.[4]
