Ben Preston (born 24 September 1963)[1] is the current editor of the Radio Times, the United Kingdom's third biggest-selling magazine.

Early life

He attended Alleyn's School in Dulwich. At the University of Bristol he studied Politics.[2] From London's City University he gained an MA in Journalism.

Career

He began his career in 1987, working on local newspapers (Bristol Evening Post). He worked later for the Press Association.

Radio Times

On 17 June 2009 it was announced that he would become the next Editor of Radio Times[3]

Personal life

He is married to Times columnist Janice Turner. His father is Peter Preston, editor of The Guardian from 1975-95. He is a cyclist.
