The Biathlon World Championships 2019 are scheduled to take place in Östersund, Sweden in 2019, following that town winning the voting in St. Wolfgang in Austria over Antholz in Italy, Nové Město na Moravě in the Czech Republic and Khanty-Mansiysk in Russia.[1] This will be fourth time when World Championships will be held in Östersund; the town had previously hosted the event in 1970 and 2008.
