'Bicho' ("beast", in Portuguese) is a 1977 studio album by Caetano Veloso. The album was recorded after Veloso spent a month with Gilberto Gil in Lagos, Nigeria,[3] and the influence of African music such as Jùjú can be heard throughout the album.[4] The song "O Leãozinho", was covered by the American Band Beirut on the benefit album Red Hot + Rio 2.
