Bombardier Invitation

History
The Invitation was briefly mentioned in Popular Science[3][4] and Popular Mechanics[5] in 1974 and 1975. Bombardier filed for a Canadian trademark in December 1973, and it was registered in November 1974. It was later inactivated in January 1990.[6]
Design
In addition to the Invitation, the company produced a similar, though slightly smaller, boat called the Bombardier 3.8 .
Invitation

The Bombardier 3.8 has a similar, but smaller design to the Invitation. The Bombardier 3.8 was rebranded in Sweden as the Triss Racer dinghy.
