Calorx Teachers' University (CTU) is located in GreenWoods campus near Vaishno Devi Circle in Ahmedabad, Gujarat state, India. It was started as a training college for teachers and establish a Private University by Gujarat State Government Act 8 of 2009 notification. It is promoted by the Kalorex Group of Companies, New Delhi which is established in 1995. CTU is approved by UGC, NCTE and is also recognized by Association of Indian Universities.

In a short span of time, CTU has earned the reputation for being one of the best universities in Gujarat with the high academic standards the university has set[dubious ]. It is CTU's constant endeavor to create talent pool of enlightened professionals capable of revitalizing the educational, economic, financial and social scenarios in India.

Currently the university is offering various Diploma, Bachelor, Masters and Doctoral level programmes. The faculty of studies are Teacher Education, Arts, Commerce, Science, Management, Computer etc.

The university aims to be a center of excellence in education and networks with the temples of learning in India and abroad to train teachers par excellence. It is the only university dedicated to teacher training in India and one of the handful of universities that prepares it's curriculum with the consultation of the industry to hone the skills of the students. The university also offers industry integrated programmes for selected courses.

The university has signed an MOU with University of West Georgia to facilitate students and faculty exchange programme and curriculum development. [1][2][3][4]


KALOREX GROUP OF COMPANIES, NEW DELHI


Kalorex, Ahmedabad is a professionally managed autonomous institution focusing its activities on K-21 education since its inception in 1995. Kalorex is promoted by the Kalorex Group of Companies, New Delhi. The group of companies is involved in various business areas including Real Estate, Hospitality, and Finance.

Teachers are the back bone, of any educational system and play a very vital role in shaping the destiny of the country. We have established the Calorx Teachers’ University with a mission to train teachers who will be “Teachers by Choice”. The university aims to be a centre of excellence in education and will net work with the temples of learning in India and abroad to train teachers par excellence. It is the only university dedicated to teacher training in our country.
