Center Theater Command is one of the five war zones of People's Liberation Army of China, and was founded in February 1, 2016. Its predecessor is the Beijing Military Region.
Its jurisdiction includes Beijing, Tianjin, Hebei, Shanxi, Henan and Hubei.[original research?][citation needed] Its commander is Gen. Han Weiguo and its political commissar is Lt. Gen. Yin Fanglong.
The Beijing Capital Garrison PLAGF is stationed in this command.
