Chisamba Lungu (born January 31, 1991 in Kafue) is a Zambian footballer who plays as a Midfielder and captain for FC Ural Sverdlovsk Oblast in the Russian Premier League. He is also a Zambian international. He primarily plays as an attacking midfielder and a winger. Lungu is known for his creativity, speed, and technical ability and has been described as a "fearless, explosive attacking midfielder who can change the game with a turn of pace or a dribble". He is a superb passer and has earned critical acclaim for his playing style, which has led to the media, coaches, and players tipping him to be a future FIFA Ballon d'Or winner.[1]
Also known as Chisandinho, he plays an attacking role, most often playing as either a striker or as a winger, and is known for his finishing, pace, dribbling, positioning, crossing and free kick ability. He is able to play on either wing as well through the center of the pitch, making him a versatile attacker, capable of playing in any offensive position. Two of Chisamba Lungu's most common exemplary traits are his pace and technical ability, which have been described as "astonishing" and "mesmerizing", respectively.
Tactically, Chisamba Lungu plays a powerful attacking role, often drifting from the left wing into the centre when moving off the ball. Lungu is known to be mentally sharp, with good vision, predicting certain plays, and also possesses quick reactions, opportunism, balance, and agility. He is also well known for his dummies before executing a shot or providing a killer pass. Although right footed, Chisamba Lungu is also able to control the ball, cross, and finish well with his left foot.
Lungu is known for his acceleration, technical skill, control and dribbling ability, as well as his flair in beating players during one on one situations. He is able to finish well both inside the area and from distance with an accurate and powerful shot. Chisamba Lungu is also an accurate penalty kick and set piece specialist, who is renowned for his powerful, bending free kicks. He is remembered for his cool penalty in the 2012 Africa Cup™ Final in which his Zambian team beat Ivory Coast 8-7 on penalties. Lungu's height, strength, jumping ability and heading technique have given him an edge in winning aerial challenges for balls, with many of his goals often being headers. He is also known for his stamina, and in particular, his great pace and acceleration, both with and without the ball; he is currently one of the fastest football players in the world.

Career
Lungu primarily plays as either an attacking midfielder or a winger and has been credited as being "possibly the outstanding African talent in Russia right now". Two of Lungu's most common exemplary traits are his pace and technical ability, which have been described as "astonishing" and "mesmerizing", respectively.
Lungu started his career in the ranks of domestic club Zanaco FC.[2] He soon caught the eye of several European scouts, and he eventually signed with Georgian top division side FC Baia Zugdidi.[3]
After one season in Georgia, Baia and Ural, a club in Russia, reached an agreement over the transfer of Lungu, who signed a two-year contract.[4] Lungu became the first African to play for Ural when he made his debut in the Russian First Division on August 24, 2010 against FC Avangard Kursk.
