Christopher Philip James Elmore (born 23 December 1983) is a Labour councillor for Castleland ward in the Vale of Glamorgan council[1] and MP for Ogmore.
He graduated from Cardiff Metropolitan University with a degree in History and Culture in 2005. He was selected as the Labour candidate in the Ogmore by-election, 2016,[2] which was held on 5 May 2016. He won the election with a majority of 8,575 over the second placed candidate representing UKIP.[citation needed]
