Christopher Paul Klieman (born September 27, 1967) is an American football coach and former player, and is currently the head coach for North Dakota State of the Missouri Valley Football Conference. He was hired by the Bison in December 2013 after Craig Bohl accepted the same position at Wyoming.[1] Klieman was previously the head football coach at Loras College in 2005. During his first year as head coach of North Dakota State, Klieman went 15–1, won the Missouri Valley Football Conference, and beat fellow MVFC foe Illinois State 29–27 in the 2014 NCAA Division I-FCS Championship Game.[2] During his second year at NDSU, Klieman again won a Conference Title and a National Championship beating the #1 ranked Jacksonville State Gamecocks in the Championship Game 37-10, his second title in as many years.
