Clermont Hotels & Residences is a global luxury hotel and private residences brand owned by glh. The brand was launched by glh. on 1 October 2013.[1]
In October 2013, glh. announced that the first three Clermont properties will be located in London, Singapore and Kuala Lumpur. The Royal Horseguards Hotel in London is expected to be the first Clermont property to open in 2014, following comprehensive refurbishment.[2][3] The Singapore and Kuala Lumpur properties, due to open in 2016, are planned to have adjoining residences and will be built as part of a multi-use development for a total cost of approximately $3.2bn.[4][5] The Clermont Singapore development is located in Tanjong Pagar and will contain a 290 metre high building.[6] The Clermont Kuala Lumpur development is being built in Damansara City, Damansara, Kuala Lumpur.[7]
In 2013, glh. announced its plans to open the Clermont brand across 30 global cities by 2023.[8]
