"Cool Me Down" is a single by Polish singer Margaret. The song was released on 19 February 2016.[1] It was written by Robert Uhlmann, Arash, Alex Papaconstantinou, Anderz Wrethov, Viktor Svensson, Linnea Deb, and produced by Alex Papaconstantinou. Additional production was handled by Arash and Robert Uhlmann.[2]

The single peaked at number 4 on the Polish Airplay Chart.[3]

Polish national final for the ESC 2016

Margaret performed the song in the Polish national final for the Eurovision Song Contest 2016, which took place on 5 March 2016, and finished second.[4][5] When "Cool Me Down" was released, Poland stood on the first place at the bookmakers to win the Eurovision Song Contest.[6][7]

Lyric video

A lyric video accompanying the Polish release of "Cool Me Down" was released on YouTube on 18 February 2016. The anime video was created by Bogna Kowalczyk.[2] Within two months of its premiere it was viewed over 11 million times.[8]

Music video

The official music video accompanying the worldwide release of "Cool Me Down" was released on YouTube on 17 May 2016.[9] The video was directed by Olga Czyżykiewicz.[10]
