Detinets

Detinets (literally "Young Man's Compound," from the same root as the Russian word deti = children) is a term for an ancient city-fort of the Kievan Rus or fortress in Chernihiv,[1] Novgorod the Great (see Novgorod Kremlin),[2] and others.
