Endless Summer Vacation is the upcoming eighth studio album by American singer Miley Cyrus. It will be released on March 10, 2023, through Columbia Records and Smiley Miley. Following the release of her previous album Plastic Hearts (2020), Cyrus departed from RCA Records in 2021 eight years after signing with them. She then signed with Columbia shortly after, and started to begin work on the album.
The lead single "Flowers" was released on January 12, 2023.[note 1] It set several streaming records and became Cyrus's second number-one single in the United States.

Background
Cyrus signed with Columbia after ending her eight year contract with RCA Records. In April 2022, she released with the label, Attention: Miley Live and a remix of "Without You" with the Kid Laroi. In an article published in October 2021, Billboard confirmed that Cyrus was working on her next album.[7]
Release and artwork
On December 16 2022, posters with the caption "New Year, New Miley" were placed in major cities worldwide.[8] Cyrus revealed the album title, cover, and release date on January 5, 2023. The album was described as "her love letter to LA" that represents the physical and mental growth she experienced during production.[9] The cover was photographed by Brianna Capozzi and "fully executed by [Cyrus] without visual effects", and depicts a blonde Cyrus wearing a black one-piece swimsuit hanging from a helicopter ladder.[10] It was compared to a similar photograph of Madonna for her coffee table book Sex (1992).[11] The album trailer was released the same day,[9] and "reflects the visual world that [Cyrus] has built around this very personal body of work" with a monologue and visuals that reference Los Angeles sights.[12]
Endless Summer Vacation will be released on both digital and physical formats on March 10, 2023, through Columbia.[12]
Singles
On January 1, Cyrus announced her song "Flowers", which was released as the lead single from Endless Summer Vacation on January 12, 2023.[note 1] It broke records as the most streamed song in a week and the fastest song to reach 100 million streams on Spotify.[13][14] The song topped the charts in several countries, including the United Kingdom and Australia.[15][16]
