Etiwanda High School is a public high school in Rancho Cucamonga, California. It is one of the twelve schools of the Chaffey Joint Union High School District.[2]

History

Etiwanda High School is one of the oldest schools in the district.[3] Etiwanda High School is one of the eight comprehensive high schools in the Chaffey Joint Union High School District and is located in the incorporated community of Rancho Cucamonga. Etiwanda opened some time in 1983 with three classes and celebrated the first graduating class in 1985. The current enrollment is approximately 3200 students in grades nine through twelve.[4] Etiwanda's feeder schools are primarily Summit Intermediate, Etiwanda Intermediate, and Heritage Intermediate. On October 6, 2014, the school received a bomb threat. They received a second one later in the month.[5]

Academics/Acknowledgements

Etiwanda High School is accredited through the WASC (Western Association of Schools and Colleges) and has been recognized as a California Distinguished High School.[4]
