Fasoracetam (NS-105, 5-oxo-D-prolinepiperidinamide monohydrate) is a research chemical of the racetam family.[1]
Effects
Fasoracetam appears to act as a GABAB receptor antagonist. It has been shown to block memory disruptions caused by Baclofen, a GABA B agonist.[2] Fasoracetam upregulates GABA B receptors after repeat dosing.[3]
Fasoracetam may act as a mGluR agonist and research into the efficacy for treating ADHD and cognitive impairment is currently being conducted.[4] [5]
Similar to Coluracetam, Fasoracetam enhances high affinity choline reuptake (HACU). [2]
