Fulufhelo Nelwamondo is an Executive Director of Modelling and Digital Science at the Council for Scientific and Industrial Research as well as a visiting professor at the University of Johannesburg. He matriculated at Mbilwi Secondary School and then completed his Bachelor of Science as well as a PhD in Electrical Engineering at the University of the Witwatersrand. His PhD thesis was supervised by Tshilidzi Marwala. He was then a postdoctoral research fellow at Harvard University. He is a fellow of the South African Young Academy of Science. He has been featured in many forums including the advertising of cereal on South African Television. Nelwamondo has been ranked Mail and Guardian newspaper as the top 200 young South Africans.
