Galaxy X was a Hughes Galaxy satellite destroyed in the 1998 Delta III test launch. At T+75 seconds the Delta III exploded after hydraulic fluid ran out while correcting an oscillating roll. The subsequent loss of control caused Delta III to pitch forward and trigger the flight termination system
