Gavin Brian Lovegrove (born 21 October 1967 in Hamilton, New Zealand) was a javelin thrower from New Zealand, who twice represented his native country at the Summer Olympics, (Barcelona 1992 and Atlanta 1996). He won a bronze medal at three consecutive Commonwealth Games: in 1986 (Edinburgh), 1990 (Auckland) and 1994 (Victoria).

Lovegrove was also a former world junior record holder (76.68m) Athens, Greece 1986 and (79.58m) Noumea, New Caledonia 1986. A six-time national champion Lovegrove now works as a graphic designer and web developer in Auckland, New Zealand.
