Georgios Anastassopoulos

Georgios Anastassopoulos (born 25 September 1935) is a Greek politician who served as a Member of the European Parliament.
Anastassopoulos was educated at the University of Athens where he studied law, and later at King's College London where he studied Comparative European Law. He served three terms as MEP between 1984 and 1999. Between 1989 and 1999, he served four terms as Vice-President of the Assembly and also held office as President of the Parliament's Transport Committee.[1]
