Giraffa is a genus of artiodactyl mammals in the family Giraffidae. The genus consists of seven species including the giraffe, Giraffa camelopardalis, the only extant species.
Species
There are eight species in the genus Giraffa, seven are extinct.[1][2]

G. attica, also extinct, was formerly considered part of Giraffa but was reclassified as Bohlinia attica in 1929.[3]
