Gliese 806 is a red dwarf star in the constellation of Cygnus, located roughly 41 light years from the Sun. The star is suspected to host a substellar companion yet unconfirmed.
A planetary companion?
According to Marcy & Benitz (1989)[1] detected a possible periodicity of 416 day]s, inferring possible presence of a massive planetary object with minimum mass of 11 times that of Jupiter. So far the planet has not been confirmed.
