Harold Thomas "Harry" Gibson was an English professional football left back who played in the Football League for Clapton Orient.[1]

Personal life

Gibson fought with the 17th (Service) and 21st (Service) Battalions of the Duke of Cambridge's Own (Middlesex Regiment) for the majority of the First World War, rising to the rank of sergeant.[2] He was commissioned as a lieutenant in the 1st (Service) Battalion of the Royal Guernsey Light Infantry on 27 August 1918.[2]
