The hook-billed kingfisher (Melidora macrorrhina) is a species of bird in the family Alcedinidae. It is the only species within the genus Melidora.[2] It is found in Indonesia and Papua New Guinea. Its natural habitat is subtropical or tropical moist lowland forests.[3]
