James II was the second release by Mancunian band James, released in February 1985 by Factory Records.[1] It contained two tracks later to be released as part of the EP Village Fire along with the tracks from debut release Jimone.
The single reached number 2 on the UK Independent Chart, staying on the chart for 18 weeks.[2]
