Jassi Gill (born 26 November 1988) is an Indian singer and actor of Punjabi origin.

Biography
Born Jasdeep Singh [1] to a Sikh family in Punjab. He had no inclination to become a singer. He was trained and pushed Jassi for youth festivals where he came second 4 times in a row.[2]
Music career
He made his debut in 2011 with the album Batchmate which went on to become an instant success with the hit song "Chudiyan". In 2012 he followed up this up by releasing the single "Vigre Sharabi. In January 2013 he released his second album Batchmate 2 which went on to become an even bigger hit than the previous album and his song Lancer. He then followed this up with the hit song "Classmate"[3] that featured in the movie Daddy Cool Munde Fool.[4] In September 2013 he came out with another single Pyar Mera .[5]
Film career
He made his acting debut on the big screen in Mr & Mrs 420.[6] He followed this up in Dil Vil Pyar Vyar. Siddharth Slathia He also paired up with Roshan Prince and Simran Kaur Mundi in the romantic comedy Mundeyan Ton Bachke Rahin.[7]
Gill signed to make a film with Gauhar Khan in February 2015,[8] titled, " Oh Yaara Ainvayi Ainvayi Lut Gaya" which marked Khan's debut in Punjabi films.[9][10]
