Johnsons Landing is an unincorporated community, former post office and former steamboat landing on the east shore of Kootenay Lake in British Columbia, Canada.[1][2]
A landslide occurred on July 12, 2012, killing four people and destroying five houses. A report from the regional government in 2013 said the slide was caused by a late snow melt and heavy rain.[3] [4]
