Kartarpur (Punjabi: ਕਰਤਾਰਪੁਰ; meaning: The City of God) is a town near the city of Jalandhar and is located in the Doaba region of the state. It was founded by the fifth Guru of Sikhs, Sri Guru Arjan Dev Ji.
