Kerrisdale Elementary School is a dual- track (English and French) Kindergarten to Grade 7 school located in the Kerrisdale neighbourhood on the west side of Vancouver. The original school opened in 1908 in the small building off West 39th Avenue. The main building was constructed in 1922, the north wing in 1925, and the south wing in 1955. In 2006, the main school building underwent seismic upgrading that was completed in December of that year. The school now includes elevators on every floor and some classes made bigger as well as new flooring. The school celebrated its 100th anniversary in 2009. The 100th graduating class was children born in 1996.

Kerrisdale's French immersion program is currently offered for grades K-7. Another district program offered by the school is a band program for grades 5, 6 and 7. Kerrisdale participates in Vancouver's elementary basketball , volleyball and soccer leagues also for grades 6 and 7.

In 2014, the Multi Age Cluster Class (MACC) for grades 5, 6 and 7 was moved to Kerrisdale from General Gordon Elementary, which is undergoing major seismic upgrades as of January 2015.

Kerrisdale Elementary was also used in the filming of the movie "Freddie vs. Jason" and used as the school in the TV series "Once Upon A Time"
