Lasius alienus, or cornfield ant,[1] is a species of ant in the subfamily Formicinae (family Formicidae). Workers have a length of about 2–4 mm, females are larger (7–9 mm).[citation needed]

Distribution

They live in Europe, from Spain to the Caucasus.[citation needed]
