Lua error in package.lua at line 80: module 'strict' not found. The Bulgarian monarchy was abolished in 1946. The last reigning monarch was HM Tsar Simeon II of Bulgaria, who is now the currect head of the Bulgarian Royal Family. The law of succession of the family is agnatic primogeniture. Thus therefore, only males can succeed Simeon II, leading to the theoretical order of succession to the Bulgarian throne:
