Lisignago (German: Lissenach) is a comune (municipality) in Trentino in the northern Italian region Trentino-Alto Adige/Südtirol, located about 12 kilometres (7 mi) northeast of Trento. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 503 and an area of 7.2 square kilometres (2.8 sq mi).[1]

Lisignago borders the following municipalities: Giovo, Cembra and Albiano.

Demographic evolution

History

The little village of Lisignago, after taking part of the Roman Empire and of ducato longobardo of Trento, founded in 1004 from the emperors of the Holy Roman Empire, and suppressed 26 December 1802.
