Wander Over Yonder is an American animated comedy comic science fiction television series produced by Disney Television Animation for Disney Channel and for Disney XD. The series officially premiered on August 16, 2013. The show's creator and executive producer is Craig McCracken. His wife Lauren Faust served as co-producer and story editor of Season 1. New episodes of the series aired on Disney XD first, then on Disney Channel, since March 31, 2014.

Craig McCracken announced online in March 2016 that the show will not be returning for a third season and that the second season will be the series' last. On May 11, 2016, it was announced that the half-hour series finale is titled "The End of the Galaxy", and it is scheduled to air on June 27, 2016 on Disney XD.[1]

As of May 30, 2016, a total of 72 episodes of Wander Over Yonder have aired.

Season 2 (2015–16)

  • A Disney Television Animation press release on June 23, 2014 announced that a second season had been ordered.[28] There will be 4 22-minute episodes forming one long story arc along with 36 11-minute stand alone episodes that also loosely relate to the arc.[29] On July 7, 2015, it was announced that the second season will premiere on August 3, 2015,[30] with the premiere episode titled "The Greater Hater".[31]
